Is it possible to obtain interference from a split laser beam without using slits??I.E Take a laser beam split it into two then combine them to give distructive or constructive interference..

Answer:
Double slit is just one of the various methods to produce interference fringes. Other popular methods are
1. By using a Lloyd's Single Mirror and 2. using Fresnel's Biprism. Go through the following links for more information.
